This Chinese New Year in Bali, celebrate a prosperous Year of the Rabbit on the Nusa Dua coastline, where Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort has prepared a special Lunar New Year menu at its new Chinese restaurant, Lion X.

Lion X offers three options of an 8-course set menu featuring a variety of Chinese favourites, including the staple Chinese New Year dish, Yee Shang, for the Prosperity Toss tradition, serving up a Premium Salmon Yee Shang with Smoked Duck Slice in Crispy Golden Rice. The special Lunar New Year offers are available from 21 January 2023 until 5 February 2023, from 12 pm – 11pm.

Naga Eight

Naga Eight, one of Bali’s newest restaurants, celebrates their first Lunar New Year this 1 February 2022, and will be presenting two days of feasting in light of this very special moment!

This authentic Cantonese restaurant opened in Sanur on 8 December 2022, showcasing a menu featuring the finest of Cantonese barbecue and Wok cuisine. For Chinese New Year, they have prepared three set menus – Harmony, Prosperity and Fortune – each of which comes with a Yu Sheng Prosperity Toss, the Cantonese raw fish salad that is traditionally eaten as a symbol of abundance and prosperity in the new year. Set menus include dishes like Poached Red Snapper, Roast Duck with Hoisin and Plum sauce, and more.

Hyatt Regency Bali

At one of Sanur’s favourite seaside spots, Pizzaria at Hyatt Regency Bali, Chinese New Year will be enjoyed with the cool ocean breeze at this classic restaurant. A local favourite! This welcoming for the Year of the Tiger will be enjoyed over three days from 30 January to 1 February 2022.

On Sunday, 30 January, the restaurant will hold a Chinese-themed Sunday Brunch, priced at IDR 390.000++/person; followed by an optional additional Paint and Sip experience with Bartega (IDR 350.000++/person), with a Tiger-theme for the painting itself.

On Monday 31 January 2022, Pizzaria will have a Chinese family style dinner available. The menu (available here) features a Yee Sang Salad, Oven-Baked Peking Duck Spring Rolls, Steamed Grouper, Charsiu Chicken, Oven Braised Pork Belly and more. Priced at IDR 365.000++/person.
